A bit short...and i had actually thought that it would focus less on Palestine, and more on the general democratic problems of our society, unlimited growth etc. However a thoughtprovoking text to some degree.
Ich habe nichts Neues gelernt und konnte für mich keinen Mehrwert daraus ziehen. Mit vielem war ich auch nicht wirklich einverstanden. Schade, habe mir viel erhofft.

An insightful essay that elicits hope and demands non-violent action on behalf of the readers. We cannot argue that we are about to cross an important threshold in terms of government and in terms of humanity as a whole; the only real question that we should be conscious of is: "Will we contribute and fight for the rights and liberation of ALL people? Or, will we continue to oppress other nations and profit from war?"
We are about to experience one of the most important moments in history, and I am excited to be alive to witness it in person.

Teniendo en cuenta la época en la que nos está tocando vivir... "Indignáos!" debería ser convertirse en un libro a leer sí o sí.
Releer 10 años después a Hessel y constatar que el siglo XXI sigue desmontando los logros de la segunda mitad del XX es exasperante.
Pero el autor nos previene contra eso... como muy bien indica la portada, hay que desterrar la indiferencia y seguir avanzando a través de la no violencia.
Hay que ver claro:
- el problema es el poder del dinero
- los líderes políticos, económicos e intelectuales y la sociedad no tienen que ceder ni permitir la opresión de una dictadura internacional real o de los mercados financieros
Pero el autor nos previene contra eso... como muy bien indica la portada, hay que desterrar la indiferencia y seguir avanzando a través de la no violencia.
