This book ended nicely, but it dragged forever for the first 80% when it was obvious where it was headed. I enjoyed the last portion much more than the majority, but did find the dialog between the main characters enjoyable.

I am a sucker for regency era romance novels. Especially with witty banter and characters that grow. A very modern day Austen-like romance with hints of Bridgerton. I appreciated the author's world that she built around this and I like that ended with not a lot of scandal. I liked the main character, Kitty, and liked that she was not perfect. Cecily was probably my favorite character of it all however.

I will definitely read a book by this author again.
