Inhaled this in a day like the full length, original BBC production of Pride and Prejudice. A book I thoroughly indulged in. All the feels of a Jane Austen regency classic with twists enough to satisfy the modern day girl.

Not one I’ll re-read over and over but definitely a treat of light hearted romance in the midst of the heavier reading I’ve been doing as of late.

Highly recommend to women 16+

I adored this book. The writing style was right up my alley and the characters were really well rounded and nice. The banter between Radcliffe and Kitty was great. The book also really shows how difficult it was to be from a lower class and be a woman in this era. Moreover, a woman who had to fend for her whole family after her parents died. I strongly identified with kitty even though she was a bit self absorbed at times. Cecile was the perfect younger sister who showed us the flaws of Kitty while also broadening the characters we got to know.
