Am I now addicted to Murderbot? Maybe. I am more attached with every installment. The short, digestible novella format is also fun, and something I don't read often. Murderbot's interaction with other bots is pretty priceless, we are introduced to Miki in this one, and after ART in the previous book, I can see this being a theme. I think this was a fun one, although a little slow until maybe more than halfway through.

Rogue Protocol is the third installment in the Murderbot Diaries. Herein, Murderbot decides to find concrete evidence for Dr. Mensah (its human client from the first novella) that the corporation was truly trying to kill them all. This leads Murderbot to return to the planet of the crime to get evidence from an alleged terraforming station. This all leads to murderous encounters with various combat bots. This story didn’t add anything particularly new to the story, but it was an entertaining jaunt through this world, and I will definitely continue Murderbot’s story, whenever my holds next become available.
