I felt, I think what I was supposed to feel: shock revulsion, horror - but not in any meaningful way. Just disgust, and soon frustration. Not for me. Not bad writing by any means, just not for me.

I finished this book forever ago and just forgot to mark it! Super vivid imagery, really interesting and engaging. I don’t typically read short story collections. I think some really stuck out to me, while others I’ve already forgotten. But the ones that stuck with me were great.
