This short story collection was very much eclectic. Most of the stories were creepy but there were only a few that I would consider horror as such. The voices of the characters were individual, and the scene setting realistic. I found many of the stories more emotional than I had expected to, and appreciated the feminist slant a lot of the stories presented.
I really enjoyed this book, and would read more Bora Chung books in translation. Thoroughly recommended.
