Arlo is a crow who meets a smaller bird named Pips. As they fly around the city, Pips learns all kinds of things about crows, like how smart they are and how they eat just about anything. They also notice how dirty humans are with their litter and help to clean up.
This is a pretty charming story with some fun things to learn along the way. The art is bright and fun.

Such a clever mashup of fiction and nonfiction! A fun storyline with lots of facts about crows included!

It had a style similar to Elephant and Piggie, but lacked their silliness, which I missed. However, it was a good read, and I especially enjoyed the "shiny things" collection storyline. It was good, but not great.

Not only is it cute and funny, but it also is very informative! I loved the crow facts!

A bit of a conceited crow, Arlo has a little friend, Pips, who isn't afraid to tell him the truth. Together, these two birds visit the city and the beach where they hunt for food and shiny things. As they travel, they also discuss more serious topics like the amount of liter humans leave in their surroundings.
This is the first book in a fun graphic novel series for early readers. Facts about crows are found throughout the book that helps explain some of Arlo's behaviors. This book was a fun read and I think younger readers will enjoy these two.

Incredible! I adore Elise Gravel and this book series especially. I love the facts mixed with humor! Such a fan!!
