This book was...fine. Nothing really special, but nothing offensively bad. It's also nothing like The Cruel Prince, so people need to chill out lol. The prince in question is cursed, but it's kind of a lame curse, and he's honestly just not that interesting when he's his normal self.

I liked this book, I especially liked the main group of friends and the little dryad. I think the frequent use of the words male and female is a personal book ick and maybe the book is a little bit too straight for me. Haha. Overall I enjoyed reading it though.

What a fantastic ride, this story hooked me from the start, I loved the world-building, and the characters are well-developed. This is the spin-off of the Tracker Series, we now get Dani's story. As with most fantasy world books, the story starts slow to build everything up, then it picks up and you can't stop reading, I can't wait to find out more in the next book.

wow

This book was great. I had seen all the drama about the cover art, and a similar name. Do not let that distract you. Tbh this book is soooooo much better than the one it’s being compared to, and guess what? THEY ARE NOTHING a like. Good job to this author. I devoured this book in 1 day.

I really enjoyed this book. It had all my favorite things, fae, shapeshifting, human-fae romance, forbidden romance, slow-burn, a heroine who’s not afraid to speak her own mind.

I think the only bad thing I could say was at the beginning she flip-flopped her attitude a bit much. Switching between being bitchy and then saying oh well, my personal policy is to always make the best of any situation so I’ll be happy and nice. You can be both. It doesn’t necessarily have to be one or the other.

More of a 2.5

Not sure why it didn't vibe with me, the author was also repetitive with certain descriptions. Didn't hate read it, but not one that I'd recommend.
