Fun, funny, and frivolous! I loved this book. "Naked Statues" is a breath of fresh air among classical history texts. Charmingly unassuming, this quick and informative little read manages to answer your weirdest, wildest questions about what it was really like 'back then,' without taking itself too seriously.

Garrett Ryan is a talented storyteller, historian, and educator! I am excited to read more from him in the future.

Excellent book! Well written and researched. The short chapters make it easy to read about the different segments of ancient Rome and Greece - you feel as if you are peeking in on the action as it happens.

A hilarious and good read, it is just not my usual genre and I was not inspired to finish it.
