This is a hot, steamy and suspense filled book. Selma is able to see through demons human disguises, she has managed to hid her ability for 10 years, but after trying to stop a demon attack on another girl her life has just become very complicated. Can't wait to see what happens to Selma when Marathin realises she has escaped.

Demons and Breeders and Humans OH MY!

[a:Nora Ash|8118312|Nora Ash|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1542703768p2/8118312.jpg] has once again shown us how talented she is!

This book is in a genre I have never read before, and I really fell in love with the world she has created. A world where women like Selma, a special kind with the ability to see behind the veil of a demon's human disguise for what they really are - Demons & Lords.

Terrified all her life, moving from one psychiatric ward to the next, for the last 10 years, Selma has "not" had any of her "hallucinations" , as she believes them to be, until one fateful night when she makes a choice that will change her life - forever. Quite literally.

Now in a mental hospital, she meets her new Doctor, who introduces himself as Dr. Hershey and claims that he can help her, make her "hallucinations" disappear, but all is not as it seems and Selma soon finds out that she is far more than human, she is a Breeder, a treasure, a soon to be bought mate for the Lords.

This steamy introduction to this series is HOT, STEAMY and I could not put it down! It does end on a cliffhanger though! So be warned - BUT don't let that deter you from getting your hands on this treasure, because there is a book 2 AND a book 3!

The author's world build up in this first book is really good, even if most of it is at the hospital - we still get a really good impression of how this world works.

The language is easy flowing, it's HOT and steamy at times, our dear Doctor has a dirty mouth (yum) and Selma show's a strong character, by no means is she a meek miss willing to just lay down!

I can't wait for book 2! And I highly recommend this series! :)

Definitely intrigued but it was far too short for me to form an actual opinion. Didn't get much of a taste for the characters. Will definitely continue reading the series though. Looking forward to learning more about Selma and her gift/illness.

As a quick prequel it did the job, I am intrigued by Selma and the why this is happening to her, the plot in this story however, there is dubious consent within it which I’m not entirely crazy about. So, I’m not sure yet but if you want to read Demon’s Mark this definitely will explain some things prior to diving into that.

Okay, this is pretty dark and doesn't pull punches so for it just being the novella that starts off the series. There are plenty of triggers for this dark beaut, so please be sure to take care and do your research before delving into these pages.

This is a fantastic introduction into a new series. This is a darker read, but it is incredibly well written. The story and plot is original and the world building creates a omegaverse with unique creatures. I am very excited to read more of this series.

This book was given to me for free with the understanding that I would give an honest review once it became available. With that being said, I rated the book 3 stars but debated giving it a 4 because it was a solid 3.5 stars.

Overall I enjoyed the book. I found the storyline to be unique and it kept me interested throughout the story. I liked the main characters, but found myself needing more from them. I wanted more background, more conversations to explain their motives, and more detail about what was happening as time passed. It felt like sections of the story were skipped over that could have provided a lot more information to make me truly attach to the characters. The intimate scenes were frequent and descriptive. Although they were a little unique for my personal tastes, they were still intense and well written.

This is definitely a book I would recommend to anyone with a little imagination to fill in the extra details I found missing. I feel like I should also mention, my expectations from books are pretty high so others may find nothing missing from this book.
