This rhyming picture book tells about all of the important landmarks in London by including interesting facts and detailed illustrations. The book ends with a short description of each landmark for more information. There is lots of great information about London in the book and the illustrations are neat. The idea going on a tour and riding on a double decker bus is also sure to excite readers. I would recommend this book to parents and teachers of children in the age 4-9 range who want to learn more about London. I could see using this book for Social Studies lessons about England/Europe and landmarks or structures. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book!

LOVED this one! I'm biased because I'm obsessed with London but the illustrations are beautiful and I love the facts put in this!

I have at least two boys who dream of riding on a double-decker bus so this book was perfect for us. We loved joining in on this fun, educational trip through London.

What a great travel book! This tour of London features various styles of poetry, mood, and scads of information. The illustrations are spot on, and some of the characters even have a pleasing similarity to those drawn by Sir Quentin Blake. Would be a great read for a family travelling there!

What an absolute gem of a book! Sam's illustrations are so energetic and detailed. I love the variety in perspectives - from the cramped tube ride to the aerial view of the Thames. Patty's poems stand on their own, transporting you to all the best of London, but they also weave together to create a full experience. I love that she covers landmarks, traditions, and rituals. The back matter is a great addition for older readers who want to learn a bit more. A wonderful primer for children who are either heading to London or just want to travel there by book.
