If you are looking for a full spectrum historical feminist theory research, this is your book. Weedom approaches feminism from a pluralistic perspective, addressing questions of gender, class, ethnicity and sex.

I selected this book for my phd research, regarding the struggles of African American females in 1920s, and, although it focuses a lot more on the European side, it became a primary source and great tool to obtain main ideas on the racism/ethnocentrism topic, as well as to create a good bibliography on psychoanalysis female experts that will come pretty handy in order to create the background chapters of the thesis.
