I thought I knew what to expect reading this book but I surely did not. It’s a beautiful, painful, searing, inspiring dive into life after the worst happens. Stephenie’s framework is not chronological, I felt myself experiencing an emotional sort of whiplash as she cranked out lessons and truths in later chapters that she’d already deeply explored in previous ones... but such rumination and heavy weighing/consideration is such a vital piece of coming back to life after massive trauma.

If you have faced a devastating loss, this book is for you. It will remind you that you have more power than you believe you do in any given moment and... that your body and spirit are much, much smarter than you think.
