Finally got the courage to read this book so I could say I read the entire Mistborn trilogy…and wow what a journey! From the start, of the series, I connected to and loved Vin and with this conclusion, I'm just in awe of the person she grew into. From a skittish street kid who thought trusting others was stupid...to a selfless and loving role model.

This trilogy only takes place over a few short years but the amount of character growth, from all the characters, is fantastic and had me cheering for them every step of the way.

Overall a fantastic and epic fantasy that I highly recommend giving a go, if you haven't already. 💜

I did not expect to get through this book so quickly.  It was beautiful and heart wrenching and a lovely ending.  Having said that I have no idea how to form words for most of what even happened.  I have no idea how people are able to write reviews without screaming into the void.  I will say the ending was very peaceful which was something I was not expecting.  Definitely going to re-read this.  This series might be the only fantasy trilogy that I actually liked all of the books, the plots and characters are just so beautifully written I now have even higher fantasy standards.

I don't think it's up for debate that Sanderson has created a beautiful world with an equally beautiful story. I tried, I really did, to think of something I didn't love about the culmination of the trilogy, but I think it's perfect. It came out with guns blazing in the first chapter and it never slowed down. The last quarter of the book picked up even faster and I could not put it down. I'm in love with these characters and so fulfilled with each of their stories. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

What an exciting end to an enjoyable series! This was emotional, intriguing, tense, exhilarating, and reflective. There was a lot to tie up in this book, and I found it surprising that Sanderson did it so well while also introducing new storylines and tying those up as well! It really speaks to his command of writing and storytelling.

As I generally say with Sanderson books, many of my past criticisms hold true. I felt that is was pointlessly long, and the excessive exposition was particularly noticeable in this book compared to the others. The pacing was fairly touch and go, though I commend Sanderson for getting to the action slightly sooner than the final 80 pages of a 400+ page book *cough cough* *Stormlight* *cough* *and also the first two Mistborn books too*.... The world building was great as expected, and I really liked how most of the characters (new and old) completed their character arcs.

All in all, this was a fun trilogy to read! I definitely think this was my favorite one of the three, which is saying a lot considering the monumental task of wrapping up such a large story, but he did it again! Onto the next one. Now if only I could read his books as fast as he writes them...
