I have not been this impressed with a book in a while. I was drawn in on the very first page and did not want to put it down. I felt like Eliza was a force to be reckoned with and I loved reading about her life, growing up on the frontier, and being married to Alex Hamilton. If half of what the authors wrote is true then Eliza Hamilton had an amazing impact on American History.

An interesting fictionalized look behind the stories and letters that were left behind at our nation's founding.

Very good historical fiction. Read it in preparation of seeing the musical "Hamilton." 621 pages

Great read of the story of John Hamilton from his wife's perspective. Only 3 stars because it was LONG and read a little long. But good book! and great to get some other perspective.
