The beginning is tough to get through but once you do it’s smooth sailing *wink* from there.

I almost didn't read this book based on the content warnings, but in the end I'm glad that I gave it a try and pushed through. 

I spent a lot of the book noting the ways each character masked themselves around others in contrast to the contexts in which they were genuine to their true selves. They each were on a journey to be honest with others, but first had to learn to be honest with themselves.

While the premise of the book is a plan to die by suicide, the book isn’t a dark, suicidal-focused book. It’s a reflection on our lifetime of choices, friendship, and the hope of new beginnings. It was joyful and funny and poignant. I loved the main character and I was rooting for her!

Was not what I expected when I started but in the end was mostly heart warming. A good reflection on learning how to change your view of your future while still grieving what you thought it would be.
