Almost finished with my re-read of this series, and like a lot of other people, I do always enjoy the second half of Death Note much less than the first half. Still a solid read, and absolutely worth it for the first half of the series, but I’m more reading to finish it now than reading because I love it.

This took me 5 months to finish lmao. It started getting boring and repetitive but I liked the introduction of Mikami and I’m ready for all of this to finally end

I'm still really intrigued by things, and enjoying the series overall, but I'm also more than ready for things to wrap up now as it feels like things are dragging on.

Regardless though, I can't wait to see how this series concludes!
