Since I was very small I've been a legion fan, it was so fun finding this graphic novel in Cork. I loved reading how my favorite characters all had their beginnings. I hope to find more in the future. I would recommend this to all fans of DC and Marvel.

Poor Legion. I think the bottom-line is that The Legion of Super-Heroes is a product of the 60s that just hasn't aged well. They tried to give this a big start, but it just felt cartoony and ultra 90s (in a bad way). The LSH was meant to be supporting characters to back up Superboy, without him there is no discernible lead character or direction. It doesn't work as a team book. Also, the art was terrible.

My only real complaint with this are the awful name changes for a few of the characters (which was probably done in an attempt to update and modernize the Legion), otherwise this is a solid retooling of the origins of the Legion.
