There was so much to absorb in this book
I found this book through Adam Grant’s recommendations, and found it had so many nuggets of interesting ideas. Although Kuburic is the “Millennial Therapist,” I feel like so much of what she talks about could be applied to veterans (a population I work with every day). I love her concepts of responsibility and freedom, and her stories of surviving war during childhood helped illustrate her points well. Highly recommended.

As far as “self-help” books go, I enjoyed this quick read. It’s up to us to understand ourselves and authentically pristine what we want and need to unlock a fulfilled life. Easier said than done lol.

I really liked the messages in this book. I feel like the author gave me some words to put towards my feelings around radical self accountability.
I’ll probably end up re reading this every year as a refresher tbh
I also liked that it wasn’t repetitive
She does use some anecdotes to back up claims/ideas as opposed to any statistics (which is fine) but if you feel yourself getting defensive and not agreeing with her then this book probably won’t change your mind

This book was so relatable. I think a lot of women who become mothers would find this helpful too.
