The writing style is very sweet and unprepossessing while still very frank and emotionally open. That being said, the audiobook is narrated by the author, and reading aloud is not her gift. Recommend reading the physical book.

Certainly interesting to hear from the daughter of the infamous Warren Jeffs herself. Surprisingly well-written. A tragic tale, to be sure, but one that is also inspiring and shows the indomitability of the human spirit.

Ended rather abruptly. Heartbreaking how the adults failed the children.

I find this subject matter fascinating. This wasn't the best written book and the sexual abuse was VERY hard to read about. Also, I wish the epilogue would have been longer. I was a little confused about the author's relationship with Brandon because he wasn't really mentioned in the epilogue. However, I figured that she included a picture of him and mentioned him and so they must still be together. Overall, a really addicting read. I finished it in a day.

Super interesting story, but the author is the audiobook reader and I found her to be boring.
