Well... I finished. This collection started SO strong, and the fizzle out to forgetful mediocrity was slow and steady.
This wasn't terrible, it even had moments of ridiculousness that could be fun. It was just, overall, lackluster, and I think I feel hoodwinked into finishing this whole thing (by nobody but myself) because the first two were so very... my personal brand of YES please in a short story.

Generally didn't like this. Mostly bc I hate a royal pretends to be normal and falls in love trope. It did have a fun twist but it came way too late in the story for me to have fun with the rest of it. I think it would've been way more fun in dual POV.

PLOT TWIST!!! This book packed so much into the less than 100 pages. The first half was a little slow for me though, but once I got to 60% the action picked up and it got sooo good!

Loved it. Two people are royalty but neither knows. They have a great day without knowing royalty and have great feelings for each other. In the end she lets him go but he finds her says he wants her royalty and all, him too. He is a prince and she is a princess. Very good love story of two meeting and falling in love. Highly recommend this short story. (post stroke review)
