Engaging follow-up to "Wanderers." The AI (Black Swan) scenes were a bit much sometimes, but the return and development of characters from the first book along with the introduction of intriguing new characters and post-apocalyptic survival scenarios kept me hooked.

This was a long book and that leant itself well to continuing the story. I like post apocalyptic and this was a nice entry. I did prefer the first book. The novelty of the “protagonist” and the unfolding story really stuck with me.

This is a heck of a sequel, and while it doesn’t quite reach the heights of its predecessor, it is a very good book. However, my one problem was that it could’ve been cut down just a bit, as the story meandered at times. But as Wanderers sort of predicted the future, this one looks back on the one that we just lived. And it did it in a pretty good way, definitely worth the read.
