Very sad, but gorgeously written.
Loved the interweaving of stories, and academic research into stories, amidst the struggle of leukaemia.
Emotional, reflective, and a heartfelt letter to the author’s children.
I listened to the audiobook, which was good. I somewhat regret not being able to view the illustrations though: I have no doubt they’d be incredible.

Beautifully written book about how families attempt to come to terms with death. The boys are very young and some of their games, questions and statements are heartbreaking and poignant
