Brooke and Nick are blazing hot! I didn't totally connect with Brooke at the beginning of the story, but I clicked with Nick right away! His hero complex was to die for and his wanting to be always more involved was heartwarming. Their chemistry was off the chart from page 1 and I just wanted more!

Letting go of fear and embracing life

Brooke and Nick’s story has all the swoony feels and all the healing. They are both real, relatable people who have flaws, but are really trying to just do their best as messy humans. Brooke is biding her time working as a PA in Bad until she has fulfilled her commitment and she can leave behind the hometown that hates her. Nick has come to find Brooke to give her life insurance money from his uncle, who was responsible for Brooke’s husband’s death. But Brooke is not what Nick was expecting and Brooke was not prepared for Nick. The journey to their HEA unfolds beautifully and organically as they spend time working together and engage in the let me help you, no I don’t need you dance. The story included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline. It was filled with all the sweet moments, painful pasts, steamy scenes, quirky townsfolk, supportive family and friends, small town goodness, character growth and missteps, fun, and love. I am really enjoying the Town of Bad and all its people.

Ooooh, this story! It was absolutely smoking hot, the chemistry between the couple practically singing me as I read! Brooke and Nick are so perfect for each other! I laughed, I got upset, I was embarrassed, and I was… hot
