A great conclusion to a very good series.

I loved this graphic novel. The story was in pieces and they all came together in a fun way. The battle at the end was exciting and believable. Believable for a story about kids who control magic and host Egyptian gods in their bodies. The magic followed files and they were able to solve the problem with their wits as well. The Kane’s are impressive characters. I’m sad their story was only three, but it might be better than dragging out and not having the story be as good.

Just finished rereading this book today, I love the graphics and I think it’s cool that the themes and colours throughout the series has gotten darker. It wrapped up the series nicely, but I’m still not sure how I feel about the whole Walt/Anubis/Sadie thing, I kinda like it and kinda hate it. Also Im pretty sure Walt/Anubis is 16 or maybe older and Sadie is 13 so again not sure how I feel about that. Bit random but I wished that Sadie would have used her avatar more, I feel like Carter uses it in every fight and Sadie barley does.

This graphic novel was a quick and entertaining read! Naturally, this would feel rushed compared to the original novel. I did appreciate the scenes included and the artwork was amazing! My only complaint is the font. Not sure if it's only because I was reading an ebook version of this, but the font of the text felt smaller than usual.

Reading these graphic novels makes me want to reread the original trilogy!
