I'm not sure what first drew me to the work of Bendis, but little of it rises above mediocre, and I now realize that he's just a hack with no real talent (and it's just bizarre that this got to press without better editing, as the letterer made an enormous amount of spelling errors).

It's full of so much PC virtue signaling BS as to disgust even the most radical leftists and anarchists such as myself. Novus is an entitled white privilege Karen who is offended that Wilson tried to engage her. When did the execrable notion of 'stranger danger' become society's default mode? Surely it had to be in the 90s, that era when the far right wing wouldn't let their children engage with other children, while more lefty helicopter parents did the same (the latter perhaps worse because they indoctrinated them into false beliefs with home schooling). Novus should look inward when she calls others--even Satan--a POS, because she's just a white upper middle class brat who, along with the others, say and do inappropriate things, but then decry the bad guys (right wingers) for doing the same. Here's a hint Brian: ALL politicians are far right wing and evil.

It's just an excuse to write a bad kid's tale with swear words and only half visible bad puns on the tee shirts of the (ostensible) main character.

It's not even worth the time of anyone with half a brain.
