The story and the diversity in it are amazing and yes... it made me sob multiple times. I have a very complicated relationship with grief and I still have no idea how to process it so reading about it really tripped me over the edge.
In the beginning I didn't really enjoy the writing style, because it felt like the author was trying too hard to make everything poetic and dramatic, and sometimes it felt like too much, but as you keep reading you get used to it so after a while it didn't bother me anymore.

This is the most heart wrenching book I’ve ever read. It’s brutal and beautifully written. Each sentence feels like it has a purpose and is a wonder to read.
