Oh, the drama! This reminded me of any given season of Real Housewives with a dash of murder, and I was here for it. We follow a group of women of Buckhead who are known for their wealth and viciousness. I loved the setup of this book, the chapters were so short that they kept me on the edge of my seat. Given the title of this book, we know there's been a murder, but we don't know right away who's been murdered, and even who is a suspect, we follow Jenny, a hairstylist, as she's being interviewed by the police on her relationship with the victim and the suspects.
I loved how realistic some points of the plot were, I think about all the times I go to my hairstylist and just end up spilling all of my juicy life details. This was a blast to read, some of the characters were so awful that at some points I was hoping that they had been the victim (as bad as that sounds), I'm not normally a fan of unrealistic plot points, but this was the perfect popcorn thriller that I needed! I will admit that at first, I had gotten a little confused with the multiple POVs and had a hard time tracking what character was who, and who was married to who, but after about the 20% mark I was all set on the different characters.
I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
