My minor complaint is that the plot didn’t really move forward much until the last few chapters, which were packed to the brim. However, I appreciated how much time and effort the author put into Emilia and Wrath really getting to know one another and even learning things about themselves. That kept the book from feeling like it was dragging. The author definitely gave me more questions than answers, but I’m excited to see how the third book wraps things up!

(Note: The last book leaned toward YA, and this one read very adult.)

This is basically a spicy whatpad book. I was very disappointed as it is 99% Sex and like 10 pages of plot

Kingdom of the Cursed is the steamiest book I have ever read and I loved it.  I loved seeing how Emilia grew on her own and how she developed her relationship with Wrath.  Wrath stopped at nothing to protect Emilia.  The twist at the end had me shook, and I can not wait to read Kindom of the Feared.

I don't know what editor or publisher told Kerri Maniscalco that ending was okay because it was everything but okay.

Kerri Maniscalco knows how to write a plot. I was intrigued throughout the whole book, and while I predicted some of the plot twists, I didn't predict all of them. The story is constantly moving forward. I love how some things come together at the end and the new questions presented. The relationship between Wrath and Emilia also stood out in this book. It's definitely more new adult than young adult than the last book. There's more romance in this book, but I thought there was a perfect balance between relationship development and plot development in this book. This is definitely turning out to be one of my all-time favorite fantasy series, and I can't wait for the next book!
