I loved this story. I'm not a big fan of wolf shifters, but I knew I wanted to read this after reading the blurb. I'm not sorry in the least. I went into this story blind, so I didn't know what to expect. Emma is a journalist looking for the truth about werewolves and humans. She's got herself out in the woods looking for the 2 wolf shifters she's hoping she can talk to them and get her story, but then something happens and she finds herself being confronted by them. These 2 wolf's are brother's they are not alike they are like night and day, but they both realize they've found their mate in the same woman.

Captive Desires is the most recent book in the To Be Claimed series. This time, the book centres on Alpha Twins Owen and Luke as they finally discover their human mate, Emma. Although the trio appeared in the previous novel, Broken Fate, reading the preceding volumes is not necessary to appreciate and comprehend this one. Despite being twins, Owen and Luke are possessive and envious of each other when it comes to having a partner. The guys have quite different personalities and viewpoints, which revealed problems when it came to Emma. I adored how each member of Owen and Luke's pack was a motley crew that was brought together. There were many types of shifters within the group; I kind of wish this aspect of the plot had been developed more. It would have been fascinating to learn more about them. Captive Desires was a lovely continuation of the larger story arc and had some wonderful spice. If you liked the To Be Claimed universe so far, you're going to enjoy this addition. I can't wait for Willow's next book in the series, Under His Reign, to bring some dragons into this universe.

“I’ve seen the way they touch the women and imagined myself on the stage. Being chosen. Offered, taken, and claimed. My core heats as the fantasy plays in my head. I snap my eyes open and cringe. I really need to get more AA batteries. My poor BOB (battery operated boyfriend) must be missing me.”

Fantastic, just fantastic. Willow Winters continues the werewolf romance world with this MMF fated mates romance. It is wonderful to see more of this world and the characters jump off the page. The spicy parts may have you reaching for a fan but there are also sweet parts that make you swoon a little. I’m obsessed.

‘Willow is the mistress of writing the more-than-one-in-a-relationship trope. This read had me howling! - The British Bibliophile

Captive Desire is a standalone paranormal/werewolf shifter romance by the incredible Willow Winters. Though this is a standalone read, it links to Willow’s To Be Claimed saga with its events within the story, as well as character mentions.

As mentioned, we first heard of Owen, Liam & Emma in brief in Willow’s To Be Claimed saga novels. This read, however, is where the three of them get to shine and their story be told in full. They’re all front and centre for our literary enjoyment.

After being won over by Willow’s books in her To Be Claimed saga and back into team paranormal/shifter romance, I was jumping for joy when I realised we’d be getting the back story on how Liam, his brother Owen and Emma all came to be as a threesome. Don’t worry, Liam and Owen share Emma. Nothing more, nothing less. This is a book about how the two of them realise, learn and adapt to life with Emma as their mate. Well, that’s just touching the surface but as you’ll soon find out when you read this book for yourself, it’s so much more.

What’s better than a shifter romance? A shifter romance with a twist. See, Emma isn’t just the mate of two alpha male shifters. She’s not a shifter at all. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, she is a human.

Emma is a curious woman by nature. Going into the woods her soon-to-be-alphas frequent with one mission in mind is soon the last of her worries. When curiosity turns to lust and lust to obsession, her mission is subsequently aborted for two far more irresistible pieces of interest. She might be trying to resist the pull to those two, but they most certainly are not.

Never underestimate one alpha—let alone two—when he’s determined and on his own mission.

Liam, Owen & Emma were a delight to get to know more in-depth. Having a story from their own POVs really put another piece into the grand-scale puzzle, and Willow did it with S.P.I.C.E. I had anticipated steam and spice because, cmon, it’s our girl here who’s the writer who always brings it. But I didn’t anticipate the kind of spice that had me reading with my jaw wide open and re-reading the same paragraphs to relive the moments.

This has to be my favourite book out of the shifter romances I’ve read from her, and I really hope to see these three again in a future paranormal/shifter romance novel. I have a feeling there’s more yet to come their way. Pun intended.

Five stars!
