Wow, this was such an incredible mystery romance. The pacing was flawless, it was an emotional roller coaster for the entirety of the book. The mystery subplot kept me guessing and when the major twist happened, I could not believe it.

This one is insta-lusty (and I am here for it!), the spice starts pretty early, but the relationship takes its sweet time developing, and there is no third act breakup (donโ€™t be fooled what happens is in some ways worse)

Here is all the things I loved:
๐Ÿ€ Josslyn - she was so sweet and kind to a fault. To the point she would risk her life and put herself in harms way for other people who donโ€™t deserve it.
๐Ÿ’ Finn Barlow - Holy molly, he is obsessive, possessive, jealous but good grief is he super loving ๐Ÿซ  when he learned Jossโ€™s love language he did whatever he could to show her his affection that way ๐Ÿฅน
๐Ÿ•ต๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ The mystery plot - crumbs were being dropped everywhere and at one point I thought that the person being accused was being used to cover up for another person. WRONG, and when the truth is discovered I was stunned to silence
๐Ÿฅน All the cameos from the previous book. Lach, Lyla, and little Theo make an appearance regularly and keep me laughing with their antics.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ The conversation that happened after a big discovery! It was mature, calmed, and collected

Who do I recommend this for?
๐Ÿ€ If you enjoy sports romances
๐Ÿ‘ซ multi-cultural romance
๐Ÿ‘ซ Duo POV
โ™ฅ๏ธ Found Family
๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ Mutual pining
โš”๏ธ Touch her and โ˜ ๏ธ
๐Ÿ•ต๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ Mystery plot
๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ An obsessive hero
