Very well written and interesting. I did feel that it started to drag a little at the end.

The beginning third of this book was a little bit slow for me but 100% worth it for the second half of the book

I’ve decided to rate this book at a 3.5 stars! There was so much that I enjoyed, but in the end I just wanted more.

4,5!

I absolutely loved the narrator of the audiobook! Amazing how she could do all of their different voices, it adds so much to the story! I absolutely loved Brit Bennett’s writing: gorgeous and graceful. Her commentaries were also very deep and raw, I wish I had the gift of articulating such difficult topics so eloquently. It’s not a favorite or a book or a book for me, but I think the story and its characters will stick with me for a long long time. I would most definitely reread it and recommend it to other people.

What a ride!
I loved Jude and Reese
(And Desiree, Early and Kennedy but girl is she angsty)

PS: Reese Carter is a Cinnamon Roll and must be protected at all costs
