lighthearted reflective sad medium-paced

I have loved Dave Eggers since reading AHWOSG. This quirky first novel didn’t disappoint. It’s a rollicking adventure to and from and through grief.

I want with all my heart to love all of Dave Egger's work, but this book was completely forgettable to me. :-(

Stunning. I'd give this one 4.75 stars if Goodreads allowed it. Fans of Jonathan Safran Foer will enjoy Eggers.

A perfect travelling book- a funny look at a truly non-planned adventure around the world.

I loved "Heartbreaking Work..." and "What is the What", but this was a waste of time.

My favorite types of books are about trips with friends or are meditations in grief/loneliness and this is both.
