Carian Cole has done it again. This might have been a short novella but each page had so much emotion. From picking a date, to finally saying I do, to eventually the birth of their first child, no one who reads this can walk away without truly understanding how much these two characters are in love. They might have met by chance in a blizzard but they are forever soulmates. The characters get deeper and deeper as the tale unfolds. This was pure romance at its best. As with all of Carian Cole's books, this one is a definite must read.

Oh how I just absolutely LOVED this book. More Storm and Evie, yes, yes please sign me up!! Every second, every minute of this delightful novella had me under its spell. I didn’t want to stop reading yet I didn’t want it to end but I just couldn’t help inhaling Storm and Evie with fervor.

This was a quick follow-up to Storm and Evelyn. I loved catching up with them in the future. I also loved how devoted Storm was to Evelyn!

TRIGGER/CONTENT WARNING for possible S/A survivors within the first few pages. No one was actually assaulted, but it was presented as though it may happen. I almost stopped reading the book after that scene. If it weren't for that, I may have given the book a 4 or 5 star rating, but I really struggled with that.

This was sooo cute! I’m not always the biggest fan of novellas, but this one really good! Storm is my favorite love interest in this series so I loved getting more from him and Evelyn.

4.25 stars.

Yet another Audible Escape listen, I am getting my use out of this service until it goes away in November.

Narrators were great. Joe Arden is a narrator that is on so many romance audiobooks and I love his narration.

This one is a short story, we’re back with Storm and Evie. And while I didn’t love Storm’s original book, I really loved this one.

It was super cute and sweet. It’s nice to see what they have been up to after their book ended. There was a retcon, sort of, I don’t know how I feel about it.
SpoilerIn Storm, at some point during their affair, while Evie was still with Michael but doing naughty things with Storm, he said to Evie that he got a blowjob from someone. However, in this short story, he mentioned that he lied because he wanted to hurt her for still being with Michael. On the one hand I’m glad he didn’t get the blowjob from the groupie but at the same time it felt like the author trying to fix/change something that readers didn’t like.
Whatever the case, it’s not a big deal.

I did love the scene where Michael is trying to get in contact with Evie and Storm answers the phone to talk to him instead. Michael was a jerk, I love when he gets verbally beaten up.

This short story is my favorite of the series. While, again, I had some issues here and there, I loved this.
