Enjoyed this horror story well enough, and yet… Even though it was high paced, my mind wandered off now and again, and I missed a few details because of that. However I didn't feel the urge to rewind and re-listen. It was short and fun, but nothing very special imo.

I was shockingly surprised at how much I enjoyed this short novel about a haunted amusement park ride! I was expecting the book version of a b-flick with this one and was surprised to have characters that actually felt real and not just fodder for a killer.

This one is weird and out there but the characters are lively, the pace is quick, and the scares are there, making this one a fun ride.

I enjoyed this thrill ride! Pun most certainly intended. Kind of a schlocky ending but a fun and quick read all the same.

I really loved reading this book! The buildup is so amazing! I'm not going to lie. I did think it was a bit slow in the beginning, near the end, I could feel my heart quicken. However, I can't give five stars because of how the black characters were written. It's always weird to me when authors try to force Black slang into their character's dialogue. I saw subtle instances of this, and while it may not have been too much, it was still a bit annoying. I also always cringe when white writers use that same old tired line about Black people dying first in horror, and then still proceed to kill them first anyway! It's just cringy. I also had issues with the way Ben died. Ben isn't a throwaway character because of his disability. Him telling his sister to go on because he's holding her back in life from being disabled?? Cringe also. Also, why was he walking in the afterlife?
