cute quick easy read for busy season! was not too cheesy which i liked! wish we knew a little more about tate’s background (does she have any friends) instead of just miles’. but overall enjoyed

This was the first CoHo book I read and I LOVED IT. it was spicy, sweet, dramatic, and the characters were so easy to relate to or at least sympathise with. Their journey was not easy and it was hard to read at times, but it just makes you root for them more!

Though I seemed to love her writing by reading this in only a few days, overall, Meh… I wanted more from some of these characters. I hate lust-at-first-sight. And what was the significance of making them step-siblings. I think it it wouldn’t have changed anything otherwise if Rachel and Miles just met in high school.

I guess I just didn't get it? I wasn't really invested in Miles's story line, especially when I flipped ahead and saw every. Single. One of the chapters from his POV were styled as some sort of strange, depressing poem. The style didn't fit with his characterization at all and was generally just painful to follow. His chemistry with Tate was okay, but every time I saw her name I just got war flashbacks to American Horror Story. I usually LOVE enemies/strangers to lovers and friends with benefits as tropes but it just fell flat
