Slow going because the language is spoken differently than how we would speak today and it takes me more time to focus, but nonetheless a classic tale and always a pleasant read. I find that each time I read it, I relate more to a different sister which is interesting.

4.5 ⭐️ rounded up! i really did like this. it’s a classic and of course felt like it doddled on. there was a moment where i felt like putting it down for a while, but i watched Greta’s version of the movie again, and it was a lovely push to keep reading.

I read this aloud with Annie at bedtime. While she may not appreciate it yet, it was a fun one for me to revisit.

A little trivial at times, but still a classic read.
