Sawyer Kingham's mom has just died and she has returned to Memphis, Missouri. She now finds herself alone without any family as she has no idea who her father is. When a chance encounter results in her backing into a motorcycle on the main street of town she ends up meeting a man whom frustrates her in so many ways.

Garrison Cocuzzo is a Navy fighter pilot and spends any time when he is not on duty out with his grandfather, Cozzo. When a dog runs out in front of his motorcycle he manages to avoid hitting the dog but soon his bike his run over by a beautiful girl.

As Sawyer goes on a journey to try and find her biological father Garrison aids her but will she find what she is looking for?

This was such an awesome book on finding the light through the dark.

Sawyer was great and I felt so bad for her as she went on this quest to find her father to only get a few leads and disappointment again and again. She had such a beautiful soul and I loved how feisty she was. The dialogue between Sawyer and Garrison was awesome and I loved reading about the two of them and how their relationship grew.

Garrison was super interesting as he had no interest in a relationship yet something intrigued him about Sawyer and he wanted to help her out. I was shocked when I learned more about Garrison and what he came from. He cracked me up so many times and he was such an excellent support for Sawyer.

I laughed many times and other times I wanted to cry during the book. I absolutely loved both Sawyer and Garrison and adored Cuzzo!!

This book was another amazing one from the author and I loved it from start to finish!
