2.5⭐️- read because I didn’t want to not read the last book in the series but could have gone without it in the grand scheme of things

Glad I read this, I wasnt going to but I wanted to finish the series. The only thing that was putting me off is the amount of smut was in the series. Major of the books that I read do have smut so I don't mind reading it but there was so much of it in the book that it over powered the plot and there was certain scenes where the sexy times was not really needed. All the books I've read in this series all are 4 stars each, losing a star was part of this reason but a few others. I would have loved to see more of a relationship between hayden and Jessie and I hated how overlooked his trauma was. I know he wasn't cut out for the mafia side but I would have been lovely to see them work together to overcome the lack of trust and still be in her life and her babies.

Review for the series

3.5 ⭐️

Jessie is a woman on a mission to find the wolf (the world’s deadliest assassin) the men who killed her family, and kidnapped her at 16, and then procede to rape and torture her for the next two years.
In an effort to gather information she worked for some questionable man. That questionable man house is raided by the Ryan Brothers: Liam, Conor, Mickey and Shane. And she finds herself kidnapped again…
Things heat up pretty quickly, and she ends up in a relationship with the four brothers.
Each of the brothers brings something unique to the table. Shane authority, Liam loyalty, Conor comfort, and Mickey laughter and food.

This is a five book series (and there’s a sixth with a collection of novellas), and the truth is that five books was completely unnecessary! Two, three would be more than enough!
I understand the reason of the length, we practically have a spice scene in every chapter, at some point. So the story drags along, so much…. And honestly that much spice is annoying! I liked the DVP scenes though

always a twist and turn

I swear every one of these books throws something I wasn't expecting. New family members, in more ways than one. A previous character being way more of a problem than expected. An attempted kidnapping. Always keeping you on your toes. I don't think I can get enough of Jessie and the Ryan brothers.
