If you enjoyed the rest of the series, and still want more from this group, then this is an enjoyable read. I can’t get enough of the dynamic between Jessie and the Ryan brothers. They’re all so different but the staple in each one is they’re love. Not a must read, but a good one if you’re not quite done with them yet.

I was sad that this series was coming to end but I think the story closed off on a really great note! It was a really fun and easy last book in the series and there’s was tons and tons of spice which is something most of us romance readers love so that was amazing! I do think there could have been a more plot or moments outside of sex but I overall liked how it ended and felt complete instead of longing for more when I finished

This one was one of my favorites. Especially where Jessie taunts Conor. I laughed so hard as they told Shane what happened to his chair. This one was a lot less violent.

I'm not sure this book was needed, book 4 closed things off nicely. This one though... I didn't even finish it, it was a little bit 'meh', like I didn't see the point of it. I got to around 40% through and literally nothing had happened apart from sex over and over again. Don't get me wrong, I love the smut in these books, it's what I'm here for! But a bit of a plot would be nice. Other reviews say the plot does eventually kick in but I'd lost interest and didn't really care. It's a shame because I really enjoyed the other books, but this one spoiled them for me a little bit.

This author does two things perfectly- plot twists and cliffhangers. I'm so sad that this is the last full length book in the series but I enjoyed it nonetheless and it was such a beautiful ending to their story. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Overview:
The Ryan's are married now and want to expand their family. Jessie is struggling with infertility, and past characters are showing up like it's a party. It's never a simple time for our main characters with Jessie's half brother showing up and of course it wouldn't be the New York Ruthless series without a kidnapping.
___
Characters:
Jessie: A firecracker as always and settling into married life well. Her character is so great because she never loses her kick. She is still a badass hacker and will happily go toe to toe with a man twice her size. Her mental health definitely takes a toll during the first half of the book but watching her and the boys work to restore it makes the entire book worth it.
Liam: Our quiet twin isn't so quiet this book. He's out spoken almost to a fault, but it's steamy. I love his character progression because he is finally understanding his self worth, and feeling like an important part of the family.
Mikey: Such a good book for him, not only is he a voice of reason but he's hopeful and working to better himself. The way he researched everything he could about Jessie's pregnancy was so heartwarming. Not to mention the way he listened to Jessie and her needs without falter. He is still a chef and more than willing to do anything for his family. (Including making banana waffles at five am)
Conor: Getting to see him take on a new role was so great. He is protective and it's so lovely to see the way all of the boys will protect Jessie with their lives. Conor was definitely his craziest this book, but hey it doesn't hurt. I also love the way him and Rudolf worked together like two peas in a pod. I feel like this was a major character shaping book for him.
Shane: My favorite character in the series now, which is a huge shift considering I couldn't stand him for at least 2 books. I love the way he listens to Jessie and actually considers her thoughts and feelings in his decision making. Not to mention the fact that he loves her so deeply and would give her the world if she asked.
___
Important Details:
They have been married for about a year at this point and we do a lot of time skipping in this book.
Jessie, Liam, and Mikey are about 27, the twins may be 28.
Conor is 35 or 36 by this point.
Shane turns 40 at the start of the story.
From what Jessie knows she is the last living Ivanov.
Shane never wanted to have kids and told Jessie that at the start of the series.
___
Final Thoughts:
I absolutely loved this book. It took me some time to warm up to the series but I enjoyed it deeply especially this book. The individual character improvement was written so perfectly and well worth the wait. Not to mention how incredible some of the spicy scenes were written (That makeup sex scene with Liam- Sooo good.) The writing style was really nice in this book and the usage of *!* was timed perfectly, and fit into the scenes. Overall I would absolutely reread the series and recommend it. It combined the perfect amount of thrill, excitement, and sweet little heartwarming moments. This will definitely be one of my all time favorite series.
___
Recap: *Spoilers*
Jessie and the Ryan brothers end the last book with their marriage. We see them trying to have a child but struggling to actually get pregnant. As this is going on Jessie's long lost half brother turns up, leaving the boys most specifically Liam heavily suspicious. This causes a lot of fall out between Jessie and him but the makeup sex was well worth it. After seeing Hayden (Halfbrother) everyday for 3 months he becomes trusted. He lures Jessie out of the apartment in which she is set up for a kidnapping. No harm comes to her but she knows the Brotherhood is after her. She is pregnant with twins at this time and right in line with danger. They ask Vlad for help in finding the members in which he shares his sons. (I would love to see a book about those two.) They eventually find the information they need, and we find out the person behind the attack was Erin; Shane's ex-fiancee. After all is said and done we get to see Jessie have her babies, and how amazing the boys are as fathers.
