Decisamente una storia interessante e che porta con sé numerose sensazioni. Una storia che si apre praticamente dalla fine, per tornare indietro e illustrare tutti gli avvenimenti che hanno portato al quell'evento, e un finale in cui si aggiunge poco dopo esso.

Una storia dove la maternità viene trattata abbastanza a fondo, mettendone in luce più aspetti, anche, soprattutto, quelli spiacevoli. E accanto ad essi ci sono le storie dei figli e della loro crescita, più le storie personali delle madri.

Una storia che esplora anche il classismo e gli aspetti negativi dell'ordine.

Una storia che di sicuro non mi sarei aspettata approcciandomi questo libro e che mi ha in qualche modo stupita.

Nonostante ciò, avrei gradito vedere un progresso miglior o maggior conseguenze per il personaggio di Mrs. Richardson e per alcune sue azioni, che oserei definire quantomeno illegali.

I feel hollow after finishing Little Fires Everywhere. This book is heavy and if this was real life literally everyone would need massive therapy. But it was beautifully written and well done. It was easy to get lost in the story and I did not want to stop when I needed to do other things.
