good but not great. it was okay. i liked the ballet aspect and honestly wish there had been more focus on that. elias and sage were cute but im not a huge fan of the fake dating trope even though it was executed well here. i also wish there had been more tension and longing

accidentally read the second book without having read the first one but it didn’t matter. I really liked it, the characters were lovable, the setting exactly what I was looking for and the romance was cute as well. Sometimes it felt like the story purposely circled back to keep it going a bit longer and the epilogue was way over the top
(and the whole Owen storyline goes nowhere?!)
, but that didn’t matter to me much

I really enjoyed Spiral! Sage and Elias enter into a fake dating relationship to get the press of of Elias' back and for Sage to get a larger social media presence for her ballet career. When Sage's apartment catches on fire, she is forced to move in with Elias. Tropes are:
❤️ fake dating
❤️ sports romance
❤️ forced proximity
❤️ celibate MMC
