This sprinkled and splatter Daniel Johnston throughout, and did an honest though sometimes lying job of his story. And it works. The true measure of this body's success is that I really believe Johnston would have appreciated and celebrated this graphic biography.

This book is filled with amazing art alongside the story of Daniel Johnston - HOWEVER the ending was suuuuuuper creepy and I don't recommend finishing it alone at night (or maybe it's just me).

I wish the writer had spent as much time on this book as the artist! Beautiful illustrations though.
