What a lovely tale. And of the kind I usually enjoy too...

Ah...vampires...what will Courtney do with this?
She is again abroad with her uncle and feeling lonely and falling under the spell of vampire.

And I am really starting to love this series of graphic novels. I think I prefer the black and white ones to the color - keeps with the goth feel.

Engrossing story, great art (I've decided not to keep bringing up my problem with the hands anymore), pulls you right in, makes you feel what Courtney is feeling.

Have to know what will happen to courtney! Also what's with Aloysius? Is he dying? I wonder what is wrong with him and I hope in the next installment I have my answers to my questions.

I really enjoy the Courtney Crumrin stories, but this one felt off. The story was more fragmented and difficult to follow. I think I also may have missed an installment since I was at the mercy of what was available through my library system. But I haven't had trouble with any of the others. The ending was particularly confusing and I was left feeling rather dissatisfied. I would probably give this a 2.5 stars - Not really a 3, but not as low as a 2.
