The novel started off quite light and fun. It had me smiling and giggling along. So it took me by surprised when things got a tad dark, but in a good way. It added more depth to the story. The author did a great job with the descriptions, I could completely envision everything that was happening. I fully enjoyed the first half of the novel.
Unfortunately the second half was when I lost a bit of interest. The story became somewhat of a Hallmark movie. Which might not be a bad thing for some, it's just not my taste.
Overall, if you're into paranormal romances you should give this book a try.
