This one was not for me. Possibly the subject matter. As a big fan of SK and seeing this recommended so many times I thought I would enjoy this one more.

This was the vampire book I’ve been looking for. I can’t believe I’ve been a Stephen King fan for so many years and had never read this one. King really is the master of horror.

Probably my favorite Stephen King novel, this has all of the things you come to expect from a King story, and more. Great world building and character development. Not fast pacing but it grabs your attention. Gothic archetypes meets small town likability. Deff a must read for anyone wanting to get into the horror genre!

Damn I loved this. Can’t believe it’s a second novel, to me it’s leaps and bounds ahead of Carrie and hugely underrated. A compelling story in and of itself but also saying so much about time and death and communities.
