Hello Stranger by Kathrine Center was something I had never read about before: face blindness. While the main character, Sadie, doesn’t start out with it, she encounters a brain bleed which upon fixing it leads to swelling resulting in facial blindness. Sadie is also a portrait artist so not being able to see faces is a bit of a problem when she is supposed to submit a portrait for an upcoming art contest in just a few weeks. Sadie must learn to recognize people by attributes other than their faces which can lead to some confusion especially when falling for a handsome stranger. This book was cute and honest. I wasn’t even thinking about the twist at the end being a possibility so I was a little lost for what happened in one particular part (I don’t wan to spoil anything!). But I’m happy with how it all shook out in the end. Definitely a good romance
