A solid ya mystery. Definitely felt that the ending was somehow super slow (I got the twist just before it was revealed and hated having to wait for it) and also rushed at the same time

it didn't hate it. at first I didn't enjoy it and wanted to put it down but with some friendly peer pressure from my friends I picked it back up and pushed through. the beginning was slow and there wasn't a defined thing the characters needed to figure out making me just hate on annoying side characters that had egos bigger than bayview. but one I got past that and started to read more I feel head over heels for most characters. Maeve and Luis, Knox, phoebe from time to time, and even the very rarely brought up Mr.Santos.

the plot on this one was better than the first book , but i love the character on "one of us i lying" more . Knox basically carried this book !! cuz without him i probably would've dnf it

the og4 was featured in this book too . i love that I could read about  them more after the Simon incident . Nate and Bronwyn !!

I personally found the first book better (although this is also brilliant) because everything seemed to be more connected and hence, the whole story was more fucked up and everything came more unexpectedly. Apart from that, the first book discusses serious issues like
outing Someone without them being ready or homosexuality in sports or class differences or how rich people have advantages in the justice system because of their wealth
. However, there are also important issues discussed in this novel and Karen McManus has written a grabbing and thrilling story.
