Oh, this was such a good book. This wasn’t a grumpy meats sunshine book. This was an asshole, meets sassy bitch romance book. I could not get enough of their love. I think Dalton annd Joy are the most perfectly crafted couple there is. I can’t really call it their meet cute because they knew each other but how things get started is definitely interesting. Add in a little brothers best friend and a touch her and die and some great banter and that’s what this book is. I can’t wait for Shepherd’s book!

Но вряд ли захочу перечитывать, потому что для меня был перебор с количеством кринжа: из девушки сделали ну прям терминатора, перед которыми якобы трясутся все мужики (ну камон, к чему это?), а главный герой ныл в своих внутренних диалогах, что якобы недостоин героини (что за ничем не подкрепленный комплекс неполноценности?).

Enemies to lovers
The way these main characters come together was hilarious and the superstition that went with it made for a hilarious story. Their banter and relationship grow was great to watch. Also love the twin sister mind talking and that her parents act like teenagers lol. Good read/listen.
