I read this for a group BOTM.
In some aspects it's a solid 4-stars: interesting, well drawn heroine; a creative plot; entertaining secondary characters; a dollop of suspense; and super-hot smexy times with a kinky slant. The downside that drops it to 3-stars: a number of plot details/inconsistences (those always drive me bats); extensive references to other books in related series; and the hated cliff-hanger ending. Watch your step, it's a sharp drop. If you are one of those OCD readers who MUST know how it all comes out, be warned, you'll be buying the entire trilogy, books 2 and 3 haven't been published at the time of this review.

This book is getting 5 on 5 rating from me only for the smut because a whole damn book has passed and I still don't know the hero's name.
Temperance's character gave me second-hand embarassment quite a lot many times. To top that off, the cliffhanger isn't compelling enough to encourage me to read the next installment 乁 ˘ o ˘ ㄏ

This book is fantastic and kept me on edge the entire time I was reading. It is quick, sharp, witty and oh so sexy! I am mesmerized by the man with no name! I can see why Tempe cannot say no to him. I am off to read Book 2 and hopefully get some more answers. This is a must read book! I loved it...

What in the hell was that last sentence?!!!
Okay phew I loved this book!?! I mean I did read it in one sitting. I'm actually baffled by how much i enjoyed this book —I mean the mc's name is Temperance Ransom lmfao.
This book was spicy af. Like squirming on my chair, fanning myself spicy. AND it was also wholesome seeing as my girl Tempe is going for her dream. It's also Hella mysterious which it intensified considering I didn't read the trilogy that this one grew from so maybe if I did I'd have more clues as to who this mysterious blue eyed man is? But whatever I loved the thrill of not knowing the MMC's name.

Meghan! You are killing me! Straight up - I am dying. My god. This is amazing! I know you always deliver, but damn. Temperance has this draw to her and I can understand why he cannot stay away from her! I love this world!
